Run Away with the Circus - School Holiday Fun!

Join circus artists Christy Flaws and Luke O’Connor from Asking for Trouble and dive headfirst into the exciting world of Circus! The team from this year’s Theatrepalooza are back to perform FoRT at the PAC on Tuesday 8 July, and while they’re in town, they want to share the fun of circus with you!

The workshops involve a combination of creative games, physical warm-up, juggling, hula hooping and acro-balance. Each workshop will be challenging and exciting for complete beginners through to those with previous experience.

Two exciting sessions available!

Children’s Session 7-12 years -  Monday 7 July 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Participants 12 and under must have a parent or guardian present

Youth Session 13-25 years -  Monday 7 July 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Participants under 18 must provide a signed permission slip.

These sessions are FREE! But bookings are essential!

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

A black and white photo of a man with a beard and a woman with an edgy haircut and a scarf in a bow.

Since 2008 Asking for Trouble has been creating award winning, beautiful, ridiculous and highly engaging touring Circus/Physical Theatre works that integrate skills, images, stories and games into a fun and inspiring experience for children and their families. They have created and performed five original works including numerous regional, national and international tours.

Over the years, Christy and Luke have facilitated workshops and directed community performances/projects, including a series of projects where they live in Clunes featuring multiple school residencies, ‘In the Deep End’- a circus performance by a youth ensemble in/around community swimming pools and Art Attack a two year program of activities co-designed with young people.

(They're also just super cool and lovely humans - come meet them!)
