Small Night In with Trudy Fatnowna Edgeley

Next date: Friday, 21 March 2025 | 07:30 PM

A strong looking woman with beautiful brown skin and curly dark hair stares defiantly at the camera. She is holding her resonator ukulele and wearing deep shades of black and red. Behind her is an ochre coloured wall.

Trudy’s rich ancestry is of Yidinji, South Sea Islander, Jamaican and Irish heritage. This unique lineage and love for country gives her a deep cultural platform to share stories through art, music, and theatre.

Trudy's haunting vocals, melodies, tropical tempos & tribal beats reflects her desire to tell the stories of her rich ancestry from the canefields of Far North Queensland to the shores of Jamaica. This results in well crafted songs that have the added interest of fascinating stories which have been seldom told. On this tour, Trudy is launching her latest album I AM HERE, sharing Australian stories of her rich heritage to bring healing, harmony recognition for her people.

Join us for this intimate Small Night In performance, where she will keep you enthralled with her warmth, her openness and her exceptional musical skill.
