Seniors Festival - The Stiletto Groove

This event is proudly presented by the Victorian State Government and Glenelg Shire Council as part of Seniors Festival 2025. Join us from 12:30pm for a light lunch and cabaret style performance.

This is a complimentary event, but bookings are essential as places are limited. If you have booked a place and are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we may release your tickets.

A complimentary bus service will run to and from Casterton via Heywood, Merino and Digby for those that need assistance with travel.

Bus seats are currently full, but we're investigating if we can accommodate any more seats - please call the PAC on 03 5522 2263 to express interest in a seat if it becomes available.

Please arrive to the below nominated collection points 10 minutes prior to the listed departure time.

Casterton - Casterton Town Hall (Rear car park)- 71 Henty St, Casterton - 11:00 AM

Merino - Merino Community Health  - 19/21 High St, Merino - 11:15 AM 

Digby - Digby Post Office Hotel - 3237 Portland-Casterton Rd, Digby - 11:25 AM

Heywood - Heywood Community Hall - 18-20 Edgar Street, Heywood - 11:55 AM

After the event the bus will depart from the Portland Civic Hall at 2:30 PM and will drop patrons back to the collection points at the below times.

Heywood - 2:45 pm

Digby - 3:15 pm

Merino - 3:25 pm

Casterton - 3:40 pm

The Victorian Seniors Festival returns this October with a range of free and low-cost events for older Victorians. Celebrate positive ageing and take part in events and activities close to home and right across the state. The Victorian Seniors Festival encourages everyone to get involved, share joy and have fun.

This year’s Victorian Seniors Festival theme – Connect, Create, Celebrate – invites older Victorians to come together, discover new interests and celebrate. Connect or re-connect with your interests, skills and hobbies. Join in events and meet new people in-person and online. Create your own path and remain curious as you age.

Join in events to build practical skills, make friendships and new social connections. Victorian Seniors Card holders can access 8 days of free public transport across Victoria from 5 to 12 October 2025. This includes travel across all metropolitan services, V/Line train and coach services, and selected regional bus services outside of the myki-enabled area.

The Victorian Seniors Festival Country Concert series returns to bring the fun of the festival to rural communities. The Victorian Seniors Festival is proudly supported by all local councils across the state, as well as community groups and organisations.
