Music Mondays - Youth Jam Session

Music Mondays at the Portland Arts Centre

As part of the Musical Pathways project, we’re excited to offer Music Mondays – a series of casual, drop-in jam sessions for participants aged 12-25 of all skill levels. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just starting out, these sessions provide a space to experiment with new instruments and equipment, share skills, and connect with other creatives in your community.

What’s Included:

Free access to instruments, including guitars, electric drum kits, keyboards, and synthesizers
Professional sound tech support
A supportive, creative environment to jam, self-learn, or collaborate with other musicians

How It Works:
Simply walk in, add your name to the list, and enjoy playing in a fully-equipped space. It’s your chance to explore new musical talents or share your skills with others.

Times:
General jam sessions / drop in times are 3:00pm to 6:00pm. When a special event or workshop is listed against a date, that part of the event will kick off at 4:00pm.
