Interested in drag but not sure where or how to start? Or maybe you’ve already been performing and want a space to develop new ideas?

Join the Motherless Collective (MoCo) for a free, community-led drag workshop where we’ll explore and build your drag character together in a culturally safe and supportive environment.

Come as you are. Leave with a character.

Need to Know Stuff:

  • No experience needed, just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to have a go.
  • This opportunity is open to everyone interested in drag.
  • We especially encourage First Nations participants to apply, as supporting First Nations creatives is an important part of this program. If places become limited, priority may be given to First Nations applicants.
  • Participants who want to get hands on with makeup, costumes, or wigs, will need to bring their own personal items. There will be plenty of skills to learn even if you can't bring any gear.
  • Sanity breaks and sustenance provided. Let us know any dietary requirements when booking your spot.
