Our two heroes arrive in a strange world, hunting for whispers of adventure and possibility when they discover a pile of seemingly ordinary objects. In a series of vignettes a couch, table, cushions, sheets and broomsticks transform into rockets, trampolines, cliffs and tents... places to imagine and explore. Images appear and disappear.

FoRT is full of ridiculous clowning, spectacular acrobatics and poetic visual imagery that celebrates the kind of creative genius that has been known to turn lounge rooms into volcanoes, trees into castles and cardboard boxes into racing cars.

If you’ve ever made a fort from a sofa, or helped your little one create their own, this is an inspiring and delightful new theatrical experience the whole family will enjoy.

School Holiday Circus Workshops!

Run Away with the Circus!

Join circus artists Christy Flaws and Luke O’Connor from Asking for Trouble and dive headfirst into the exciting world of Circus!

The team from this year’s Theatrepalooza are back to perform FoRT at the PAC on Tuesday 8 July, and while they’re in town, they want to share the fun of circus with you!

The workshops involve a combination of creative games, physical warm-up, juggling, hula hooping and acro-balance. Each workshop will be challenging and exciting for complete beginners through to those with previous experience.

Children’s session 7-12 years, Monday 7 July 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Youth session 13-2 years Monday 7 July 3:00pm to 4:30pm

Audience Advice

Show duration is 50 minutes.
Recommended for primary school aged children and their families.
