To celebrate Children’s Week 2025 the Portland Maritime is offering a hands-on creative session aimed at children and their families. Children will explore the story of how the Portland Lifeboat assisted in the rescue of survivors from the Admella Shipwreck through a guided trail they can complete with their families. There will be the chance to get inspired by the artwork of local Portland artist, Bob Stone, who has created a wonderful series of prints depicting how the Lifeboat and its crew rescued survivors.
There will then be time to get hands-on creative and make a print using foam blocks and water-based textas.
This activity is a free drop-in activity.
