Education Program

Every year the Portland Arts Centre and Glenelg Shire Cultural Collection present live shows, exhibitions, talks, and museum activities suitable for school groups.

Experiencing live theatre for the first time is a magical experience we want to make sure every child in our region gets to have. Research tells us that live theatre enhances literary knowledge, critical thinking, tolerance and empathy. Our education shows are offered at special times aimed to accommodate school bookings, and at our educational rate of just $10 a ticket to assist schools accessing that magic!
