Con Kroker

In the Portland Arts Centre from Friday 16 August – Friday 4 October

Born in 1910, Conrad Otto Kroker was a Horsham based photographer. His interest in the art of photography began in 1924 when, at the age of 14, he used a basic Kodak to take photos documenting his life. Inspired by a 1931 Kodak competition Con decided to pursue his dream to become a serious photographer. Throughout his life he documented people, their crafts and skills and the landscape around him.

An exhibition of works from the Glenelg Shire Cultural Collection gifted from his late wife Nance Kroker.

Gallery open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm. Free admission to all exhibitions.
