I See You Like This - 2021

In July 2021, artist Jessica Wilson visited Portland with the project I See You Like This.

Over the course of a 45 minute studio session, Wilson acted as assistant to local children - now the Artists of the project - and introduced them to some of the processes an artist goes through when beginning work; exploring symbol and metaphor; critically assessing their subject; sketching; and experimentation; before taking to their canvas - their parents' faces - to create their masterpieces.
