Celebrate! It's Christmas!

Join us for a festive morning tea and a matinee concert to celebrate the year that was, and look forward to 2025!

To wind up a fantastic year of matinees, Promac Productions Australia, led by perennial favourite funnyman Christopher McKenna and his Company, will bring their highly acclaimed Christmas production to the Portland Arts Centre.

The show stars Australian tenor Roy Best, who is currently guest soloist with the Australian Pops Orchestra and has recorded for ABC Classics. Joining Roy will be internationally acclaimed soprano Alison Jones who has sung leading roles in London's West End at the Savoy Theatre. Their divine voices will be skilfully accompanied by concert pianist virtuoso William Schmidt.

There will also be guest appearances by some of Portland's very own Christmas songbirds!

The show will be packed with all your Christmas favourites with a wonderful mix of classic Christmas carols and contemporary holiday songs, loaded with lots of jolly laughs along the way, to get everyone in the true Christmas Spirit. O Holy Night, White Christmas, and The Holy City, will be just some of the hit songs sung in this joyous production - so join the Promac Company to “Sing In” Christmas 2024!

This event is presented as one of two launch events to celebrate the 2025 Program for the Portland Arts Centre. It's a free event, exclusively for our members and their guests. If you're not yet a member, you can join from just $15 a year.
